This bipolar longitudinal EEG shows a left temporal EEG seizure pattern during a seizure characterized by blank staring and loss of consciousness, which is followed by an ictal asystole lasting 22 seconds. During the asystole, the patient's head dropped and she developed myoclonic jerks of the trunk and the limbs.
