Methylcobalamin, a form of vitamin B12, is widely used to treat vitamin B12 deficiency, peripheral neuropathy and diabetic neuropathy. Since it contains cobalt in the centre of a corrin ring, those with cobalt allergies may experience allergic skin eruptions from methylcobalamin intake.
