Trishostasis spinulosa (TS) is a relatively rare skin disorder characterized by the retention of vellus hairs surrounded by keratinous sheaths in a dilated follicle [1]. TS usually presents as spinous plugs, predominantly located in the seborrheic areas, and tufts of fine hairs can be identified in each plug [2].
