A 24-year-old Caucasian male presented with a three-year history of slowly enlarging, mildly pruritic, polycyclic plaques with an infiltrated rim on the forearms, buttocks, and thighs (figure 1A, B). On closer inspection, fine scaling was observed on the advancing edge (figure 1C). A skin biopsy showed perivascular and periadnexal lymphocytic infiltrates (figure 1D) with an acanthotic epidermis, parakeratosis, pitiriasiform vesiculation, and scant spongiosis (figure 1E).
