A 47-year-old Caucasian woman with a medical history of spitzoid melanoma two years previously, presented with an asymptomatic lesion on the left forearm, which the patient had noticed just one week ago. There was no history of trauma or any other symptoms.The patient had a 0.6-cm, well-defined, erythematous macula (figure 1A).
