Maculopapular rash (MPR) is caused by T cell-mediated hypersensitivity to infection or drugs [1]. The skin infiltrate consists largely of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells in the upper dermis. Little is known about the origin of these pathogenic T cells. Here, we report a case of MPR that occurred during a nadir period in a patient with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) treated by chemotherapy.
