Pemphigus represents a group of immune-mediated, blistering diseases including pemphigus vulgaris (PV), pemphigus foliaceus (PF), IgA pemphigus and paraneoplastic pemphigus which are secondary to the loss of cell-surface adhesion of keratinocytes [1-5].
