An 80-year-old Japanese man noticed pruritic papules on the neck in 2013. Although he was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) several years before, MDS remained untreated. A nearby hospital prescribed topical steroids for the eruption, which did not markedly improve. Therefore, he was referred to our hospital.
