Bowen's disease (BD) is a type of in situ squamous-cell carcinoma occurring in the skin and mucous areas. Several types of human papillomaviruses (HPV) have recently been identified in BD of the genital region and the distal extremities [1]. The commonest of them is HPV 16 [2].
