Pseudo-allergic reactions are inflammatory, immediate-type reactions with clinical symptoms such as rhinitis, asthma, or urticaria. IgE is not involved, but after provocation, histamine release and sulfidoleukotriene (sLT) production can be found in vivo in pseudo-allergic patients [1].
