Accessory breast represents ectopic breast tissue that results from a failure of the embryonic mammary ridge to regress. It is found in 2-6% of women [1-3]. This tissue can present as a mass anywhere along the course of the embryologic mammary streak (milk line), but is most frequently found in the axilla.
