Intercellular IgA dermatosis (IAD) is a subset of autoimmune bullous disease with anti-keratinocyte cell surface antibodies belonging exclusively to the IgA class. This condition is classified into five subtypes, viz. subcorneal pustular dermatosis (SPD), intraepidermal neutrophilic IgA dermatosis (IEN), IgA pemphigus vulgaris (PV), IgA pemphigus foliaceus (PF), and unclassified IAD [1].
