A 44 years old man presented at the emergency ward with vomiting and diarrhea, seven days after he had returned from a one month trip to Senegal. The patient reported asthenia, headache, fever and chills, with no effect of paracetamol and he admitted nonadherence to the malaria chemoprophylaxis. Moreover, he reported tick bites.
