A 91-year-old woman with no history of hematology disease was admitted to the emergency room for acute hip pain without obvious triggering factor. This patient was treated by a direct oral anticoagulant for atrial fibrillation.CT scan revealed no abnormalities. The diagnosis of sciatica was retained.
