In Morocco since 1994, a standardized treatment against typhoïd fever has been stated by public health authorities. This treatment recommends cotrimoxazole as the antibiotic of the first line in the treatment of typhoïd fever. And as alternative treatment, amoxilcillin, thiamphenicol, ofloxacin, ciprofloxacin or ceftriaxon are preconised.Many studies have been conducted to investigate antibioresistance of salmonella strains in Morocco [1, 2].
