Vascular trauma of limbs in children is rare; they represent 0.6% of all pediatric trauma patients, despite the steady increase in the number of road accidents and exposures to traumatic risks by games activity or sports, and the upsurge of invasive gestures. However, these traumas are linked to a high rate of morbidity and mortality.

Multidisciplinary management of vascular trauma in children is the rule and involves resuscitators, vascular surgeons, pediatric surgeons, pediatric doctors and radiologists. It is carried out in two predetermined phases: initial evaluation and emergency procedures, followed by a complete lesion report with the development of an appropriate treatment.

We report the observation of a two-year-old child who suffered from a trauma of the left lower limb causing a subtotal section of the superficial femoral vein.
