Authorizing physical activity to a patient with Marfan syndrome is a complex situation. The practitioner must take into account the physical and psychological benefits induced, but also and above all the risks of serious complications up to the death, which physical activity can generate. Competition is contra-indicated, but recreational, soft and relaxing sport activity with a low static and dynamic components may be authorized after patient education and under betablockers, in order to limit an increase in pulse and blood pressure.
