In South-Africa, the process of adaptation in arid countries and taxonomic groups concerned are extremely varied. Are showed here some aspects of the natural vegetation in this country: fynbos, bush and veld are commented the essential points about strategies imposed by climatical conditions. If hyperadaptations observed are in families of plants which have not a very important economical consequence, they display in any case and here better that everywhere else, the most instructive examples of the acquisitions made by vegetal evolution.
