The perturbation of the biocenose is not only the consequence of anthropic actions. Natural factors such as the climate can lead to the destructuration and even to the destruction of aquatic populations whose resistance and adaptation capacities have become weaker. Facing inappropriate ecological conditions for aquatic populations, the Nfefikh hydrosystem shows an imbalance of zooplanktonic and zoobentic communities during summer drainage.
