Porocephalosis: still a rare diagnosis

Summary : We report a case of porocephalosis in a 35-year-old Congolese adult who habitually ate large amounts of snake. The principal nonspecific clinical sign was abdominal pain. Diagnosis was based on X-ray examination of the abdomen without preparation and abdominal ultrasound scan.
