During the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been considerable interest in teleneuropsychology (TNP). Given the potential of telepractice to improve access to care, it is important to explore the TNP literature to assess the validity of these practices. In this article, we will discuss the effectiveness and acceptability of remote cognitive intervention. We will also discuss the feasibility and validity of administering neuropsychological tests via videoconferencing. Finally, the issue of patient and clinician satisfaction and the quality of the clinical relationship will be analyzed. Overall, we will conclude that there is a growing body of evidence supporting the feasibility and acceptability of TNP in adults, but also in children and the elderly. The working alliance can be established at a distance. TNP thus seems to be able to be maintained in support of traditional practices to extend the action of the neuropsychologist beyond the walls of the hospital.
