The fight against child malnutrition in many southern countries remains the number one priority of the United Nations (US) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The curative treatment of child undernutrition is based on adapted nutrition with a therapeutic food ready for use in outpatients or in renutrition centers in the most serious cases. To avoid relapses or to prevent undernutrition of children a nutritional education of families is essential. A method of nutritional education of the parents is described: It is the game Nutricartes® which was developed by the non-governmental association l’Appel with cure rates of 80% and which are maintained 2 years after the stop of parent training in this nutrition education.
