Background: In 2015, the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics recommended that policies be put in place to prevent environmental exposure to chemicals. It is in this context that the PREVENIR (PREVention ENvIronnent Reproduction) platforms were set up. The objective of this work is to describe how the PREVENIR platforms work. Results: these structures are dedicated to the evaluation of occupational and extra-professional environmental exposures in patients treated for reproductive disorders (fertility disorders, pregnancy pathologies, congenital malformations), with the main objective of proposing targeted preventive actions in environmental health. The patients are received during an interview, carried out using a protocol-based questionnaire which makes it possible to characterize situations of exposure to risk factors on reproduction. Prevention messages are delivered during the interview, targeting exposure situations. A report on the identified exposures and the preventive actions to be implemented is drawn up for the attention of the patient and his corresponding doctors. Conclusion: the establishment of these platforms throughout the country should make it possible to ensure a system of vigilance on the pathologies treated and offer support for the establishment of research projects, in particular etiological.
