Summary : The capacity to estimate the “risk”, which presents an individual, whether it is about the risk of violence or about the risk of sexual violence, is a pressing request of the society to the psychiatrists. Many tools have been developed in recent years, with the aim of helping to “better” assess these risks. If the actuarial tools seem little adapted to the clinical practice, the tools of semi-structured clinical judgments allow an improvement of the evaluation of the risk, while leaving the clinician a certain freedom in the final evaluation. |
