Infra-renal abdominal aortic aneurysms

Sang Thrombose Vaisseaux. Volume 23, Number 7, 348-59, Septembre 2011, Mini-revues

Résumé   Texte intégral

Author(s) : Yves Castier

Summary : The guidelines for management of abdominal aortic aneurysms of the European Society of Vascular Surgery provide recommendations for clinical care of patients. Abdominal aortic aneurysm is a complex disease with much variability. The significant increase in the quantity of scientific literature published in recent years concerning this condition and the new technical and medical advances have made these recommendations more pertinent than before. This document covers asymptomatic, symptomatic and ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysms with fusiform dilatation and includes the preoperative, perioperative and post-operative care.

Keywords : aneurysm, infra-renal aortic aneurysm, recommendations
