“Dys” students at college

Médecine. Volume 8, Number 2, 88-91, Février 2012, Vie professionnelle

Résumé   Article gratuit

Author(s) : Éric Guillot

Summary : The sufferings of these children come in different forms. When visible, they can be a source of stigma\; when silent, we should not neglect them. This may include problems in reading and writing difficulties in tracking space, attention deficit, and all these warning signs need to question us to implement the necessary remediation: a “dys” student is not less “intelligent” than another, but only subject to a peculiarity that can be overcome by adapting the curriculum. A plural look, both medical and educational, is essential.

Keywords : dyslexia
