Regarding a pilot health-judicial system in the Strasbourg region

l'Information Psychiatrique. Volume 88, Number 2, 131-4, Février 2012, Question ouverte

Résumé   Texte intégral

Author(s) : Alexandre Baratta, Olivier Halleguen

Summary : The issue of prison care of patients with psychotic disorders is regularly raised. This concerns a typically fragile population that only precariously adheres to the care provided. The problem is even more acute during the individual's release from prison: the transition to the psychiatric sector is far from systematic and being out of prison regularly rhymes with therapeutic failure. This observation is the basis for the establishment of a pilot health-judicial system for the Strasbourg region. How it will function will be detailed in this article.

Keywords : prison psychiatry, care system, care management, home therapy, duty of care, justice, psiquiatría penitenciaria, red de atención, circuito de atención, apartamento terapeútico, cuidados sin consentimiento, justicia
