A father in early hyperactivity

l'Information Psychiatrique. Volume 88, Number 2, 125-30, Février 2012, Perversions (2)

Résumé   Texte intégral

Author(s) : Jérôme Galien

Summary : Postmodern man will be driven by a “new psychic economy” (Melman), and engaged in “ordinary perversions” (Lebrun). The generalization of this point of view is unreasonable, particularly as it concerns thinking about child “hyperactivity”. In fact, the personality of the unmanageable child is in no way comparable to the perverse and its management should not aim for a “return of the authoritarian father figure” (Melman). Many children who are restless suffer from a “deprivation complex” (Winnicott) require, on the part of the therapist, a kind and caring attitude, which is far more reminiscent of maternal rather than paternal values.

Keywords : hyperactivity, child, perversion, clinical case, fear of death, psychoanalysis, Melman Charles, Lebrun Jean-Pierre Winnicott Donald Woods, psychic economy, deprivation, hiperactividad, niño, perversión, caso clínico, angustia de la muerte, psicoanálisis, Melman Charles, Lebrun Jean-Pierre, Winnicott Donald Woods, economía psíquica, deprivación
