l'Information Psychiatrique. Volume 86, Number 2, 145-51, février 2010, Psychoses : évolution des concepts et des pratiques (1)

Résumé   Texte intégral

Author(s) : Philippe Conus, Andrea Polari, Charles Bonsack

Summary : Over the past 20 years, a particular interest in intervention at the early phase of psychotic disorders has led to the development of several programs that specialize in this type of treatment throughout the world. The program’s goal is not only to shorten the duration of untreated psychosis, but also provide care that is tailored to meet the needs of patients who pass through this phase of the disease. In this article the authors discuss the TIPP program (Treatment and Intervention in the early phase of psychotic disorders), developed in 2004 in Lausanne, its contents and its significant impact on patient commitment in care.

Keywords : preventive medicine, schizophrenia, psychotic symptomatology
