Delirium Influence and dementia syndrome: concerning one case

Summary : We present a case of influence delirium, with episodes of enchantment associated with a dementia syndrome, in an 84 year-old patient. This was an opportunity to present semiological and psychopathological details surrounding the central concept of influence of a patient against the loss of identity. The psychoanalytical approach verges on an anthropological perspective in order to attempt to understand the relational stakes involved, with caregivers and the family, in order to establish the basis for a diagnostic and therapeutic approach that is involved in this field of practice.
