Summary : Although the disease description of paraphrenia appears to have completely disappeared from current classifications and to have been relegated to a chapter in the history of psychiatry, it has had a necessary place in sequencing psychosis. Apart from a respective point of view based on the psychoanalytical theory of psychosis by Lacan, paraphrenia finds its continuation in the new category of common psychosis. |
