l'Information Psychiatrique. Volume 84, Number 9, 827-34, Novembre 2008, pathologies du travail

Résumé   Article gratuit

Author(s) : Michel Hautefeuille

Summary : Drug taking or daily drug taking by executives.Competition in the workplace has become stiffer and stiffer. Particularly exposed in their position as interface, executives find themselves in the first line of fire. A loss of meaning in their activity, unlimited demands placed on their availability and performance can make them feel obliged to push back their own limits incessantly. Like high level sportspersons, they can then be tempted to “help themselves” by taking certain products intended to give them the energy they are lacking, the concentration they hope for and the productivity they are seeking. After taking stock of the situation, the author proposes some avenues for action.

Keywords : adaptation, executive, competition, drug taking, daily drug taking, company, performance, treatment
