Summary : Logic of stigmatisation, ethics of destigmatisationThis article examines the social and cultural logic leading to discrimination and stigmatisation. After giving an overview of the main avenues of stigmatizing thought it deals with the ethical and ideological foundations of the struggle against stigmatisation and raises the question of their transcultural validity.
