Résumé   Article gratuit

Author(s) : Catherine Stef

Summary : Masked depression and depression masks in teenagersA subject is constituted through loss. The latter is even the condition of his/her accession: loss on a level of image, immediately disappointing after the jubilation of recognition in the mirror, loss on a level of the signifier, always deficient and equivocal, that leads to misunderstanding. By means of some clinical cases, and on the basis of these universalities, we will examine what constitutes depression as a specific clinical fact, as a symptom for a subject.

Keywords : lost object, desire, jouissance, symptom, poetry
