Summary : Psychogenesis of cancerCancer is a multifactorial disease whose occurrence depends not only on biological factors, but also on psychological ones. The different research into cancer psychogenesis faces essentially methodological difficulties because of the ignorance surrounding the onset of the cancerous process and the asymptomatic phase lasting. The aim of this report is to study the psychological effect in cancer genesis. We will try to focus on the impact of stress, depression and type C personality on the immune system, and to study the contribution of the psycho-neuro-immunology. Keywords: cancer, genesis, depression, alexithymia, type C personality, stress.
