Résumé   Article gratuit

Author(s) : Gisèle Apter-Danon, Annick Le Nestour

Summary : Psychotropes and perinatality. What choices are possible? The perinatal period represents a moment of psychic upheaval in the life of a woman. The risk of the occurrence of pathologies or of the decompensation of pre-existing ones is such that psychotherapeutic and medicinal care can prove indispensable. It then becomes necessary to assess the benefits and risks of medicinal prescription, or its absence, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Keywords : breastfeeding, pregnancy, therapeutic indications, psychotropes, perinatal psychopathology
