Summary : How can one describe the specific care function of full‐time hospitalization? Drawing on their own experiences, the authors strive to find some partial answers to this question on which to hang their etiological myths. They propose the term "residential treatment" for a type of care that is very useful within the panoply of paedopsychiatric therapies. This concept of care combines three aspects: the prescription of expiation\; the integration of self\; the impasses of social integration. |
Keywords : child and adolescent psychiatry, care function, hospitalization. |
