ARTICLE
Another year passes and it is with great pleasure that I can report
that it has again been most successful for the European Journal of
Dermatology. A warm thank you to all the Board Members who work so
hard at both encouraging their colleagues and contacts to submit
interesting and informative articles and in the reviewing of
submissions.
At the recent Board Meeting in London, UK, we were pleased to be
able to report that the impact factor continues to improve, as does
the total number of submissions compared to previous years [1]. The
journal attracts important papers from countries as diverse as the
USA, Korea and Turkey as well as the countries of Europe.
Advances in electronic communication have made submission and
processing of articles ever more easy and rapid. 2006 sees the
introduction of on-line submission, at the address :
http://libbey.fontismedia.com/ejd/.
The free EJD electronic newsletter now has over
700 subscribers informing them of the latest published
articles. Access to previously published articles is also simpler
on the John Libbey website, which includes all the EJD articles
published from 1997 to the current issue.
To all our readers and authors, the whole world over, I wish an
active and productive 2006.
