Summary : It is with great pleasure, as always, that I sit down to write the editorial for the first issue of the year. The EJD Board met in Paris in December and the four editorial offices reported overall the same level of activity as in previous years, with an increase of articles submitted to the newest offices in Italy and Spain and an encouraging interest shown in the journal by American authors. The rejection rate of submitted manuscripts was 32% (although it is higher for clinical case reports and "Guess What" articles of which we receive many more than we can publish). |
