Anaerobic sealants: still a problem today |

Summary : Acrylic anaerobic sealants are widely used in engineering and electronic industries. They may induce allergic contact dermatitis of the first three fingers and onycholysis.
We report a case of allergic contact dermatitis due to anaerobic sealants and we underline some practical problems connected with the frequency of sensitization, patch-testing and material safety data sheet availability. |
