Summary : This contribution is a reaction of leaders of European societies of surgical oncology to the report made by the French Fédération of Cancer Centers about surgical oncology. The proposals of the Livre Blanc are discussed and supplementary proposals are made. This paper clearly shows a similar point of view at the European level.
