The first articles aimed at clarifying the notion of parental authority and defined health care implications, more especially those concerning a GP. This third article will detail the notions of “standard treatment” as opposed to “nonstandard treatment” given to adolescents who often consult for much more complex reasons than those usually presented by youngsters in the same age group.
