The measles immunization coverage stagnates and is insufficient in France and in the world, resulting in the current measles outbreak. The growth of the Internet has brought the dissemination of antivaccine ideas and has increased the vaccine hesitancy. But new communication technologies could also lead to develop new information and reminder tools about immunization. This longitudinal epidemiological evaluative non-randomized prospective study aimed to assess the possible impact of an information campaign by email on the MMR vaccination coverage in the French department Loire. Sending a reminder email to the parents whose children have reached the age for MMR vaccination is associated with better immunization coverage. This impact could be improved by combining with a decision aid.
