Authors

Traumatic dislocation of metatarsophalangeal joints of the toes are rare and few studies are published, even if their diagnosis is now easier thanks to advances in imaging. The major difficulties are essentially correct radiological analysis in order to define the type to derive therapeutic modalities. Jahss provided a broad analysis of these cases and those in the literature allowing to establish a classification and few studies have been undoubtedly the basis of our approach and therapeutic discussions.

We report a case of lateral convergent dislocation of the great and the fifth toes associated with a fracture of the neck of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th toes, and based on our analysis of the literature, no similar case has been reported
