Epidermoid Carcinoma of the Forefoot in a Diabetic Female. About a Case and Review of the Literature Volume 31, issue 4, Décembre 2015

Authors

Epidermoid carcinoma are rarely localized on the foot. In the literature, they are often described as the consequence of chronic cutaneous lesions or osteitis. Nevertheless, some cases have been described in diabetic patients. We reported here a case of a diabetic female of 62 years old who has been seen because of the development of a chronic and ulcerating lesion on the forefoot since eight months. The patient had pain and limitations in the daily activities. The biopsy confirmed a epidermoid carcinoma. The patient underwent a transtibial amputation.
