Oral oncology therapies play an important part in the management of cancer pathology. However, the problem of patient adherence to medication aises. Very few studies assessing adherence are published in the literature. It is an essential component to be taken into account in the patient's follow-up as this will determine its effectiveness. We conducted a study on a cohort of 33 patients with malignant disease and treated orally to assess their level of adherence to therapy. Follow-up duration was 6 months and adherence was measured using a electronic pillbox that tracks the treatment persistence and compliance with the regimen. This study has enabled us to meet two objectives: assessment of adherence and acceptability of electronic pillbox by patients. The results confirm that a number of patients must be accompanied by a pharmacist during their treatment. Use of electronic pillbox can also target the type of difficulties encountered by the patient. The factors of poor adherence are multifactorial. Therapeutic education of the patient will explore with him the brakes and motivations for good adherence. The factors of poor adherence are multifactorial.
