Anxiety disorders: diversity of theoretical approaches. This article proposes to approach the theme of anxiety disorders through a clinical case study. Different theoretical approaches are discussed, in particular the psychodynamic model which derives from a structural approach to personality and notably to neurosis in the case of anxiety disorders. The concept of neurosis is currently brought into question by the DSM, but many points of view and approaches are required in order to fully understand the patient’s psychology.
