In this paper, we will discuss the results of the literature review we have undertaken on drug treatments for chronic non-schizophrenic delusions. This category, present in the French nosography, includes: paranoia, chronic hallucinatory psychosis and paraphrenia. These clinical entities have disappeared from international classifications, however some of their characteristics can be found in late onset schizophrenia and delusional disorders. We have therefore attempted to articulate the specificity of the treatment of each of them with the most recent pharmacological data.
