The birth of thought and vagaries of its developmentAfter envisaging some paths for reflection as to the advantage of thinking (component of the system by excitation, symbolic reparation and narcissistic anchorage), the author successively envisages the setting up of the first containers of thought, the first contents of thought and the first links. Three specific problem areas are then brought up: access to intersubjectivity, the different levels of organisation of psychic bisexuality, and the question of the interlocking of same and different elements. The article ends with a plea, with respect to recent discoveries in terms of neuroimagery of infant autism, in favour of the multifactorial model of the normal development of the psyche, and its disorders.
