Deep remission is a gold strandard to treat IBD patients defined by clinical and endoscopical remission. We have no data about the interest of histological remission. In CD (transmural disease), the interest to obtain histological remission is not evident due to low data about clinical interest to obtain this target with no clear indexes. In contrast, for UC, histological remission is associated with positive evolution in our patients, index for this target are reported and are concordant with clear threshold values. However, we cannot suggest using this target to optimize our patient due to lack of interventional studies using this strategy.
